International Child Care Ministries opened a school in the village of Monte Santo, in a remote corner of northeast Brazil, to assist the many families that are too poor to send their children to school.

Mike and Vickie Reynen, Africa Area Director and Regional Child Care Coordinator, share about common misconceptions regarding African, their passion for African people, seeing the church grow and reaching out to this continent that is marked by war, poverty and AIDS.

On September 18, 2004, Hurricane Jeanne passed through Haiti causing floods and killing thousands.  As soon as it was possible, Free Methodist Missionaries worked tirelessly to help with the flood relief of those who lost everything.

The story line follows Divica, who lives in our hostel in Bangalore and Rajan who lives in our hostel in Mumbi through their days in our hostels in India.  Follow them to school, to meals, to devotions and worship and to cultural aspects  of their lives.

After visiting their sponsored child in the Philippines, sponsors Rob Blair and Rachel Young composed a song to depict the life of a sponsored child.  You can hear this stirring message and make it your own.

Study centers in Chile provide Christian training for sponsored children.  The children attend a public school but are provided meals and Christian lessons at our churches through sponsorship.

The Kibera district of Nairobi is the world’s largest slum.  An estimated 2.2 million people live in this slum.  ICCM has two schools that are a bright spot of hope and help in the midst of this devastation.
