On September 18, 2004, Hurricane Jeanne passed through Haiti causing floods and killing thousands. As soon as it was possible, Free Methodist Missionaries worked tirelessly to help with the flood relief of those who lost everything.

In Haiti, the staff at the Dessalines Hospital offers care to the sick in spite of few resources and overwhelming spiritual oppression. They provide HIV/AIDS programs as well as general medical care to people with no other access to health care.
